Torretta veut dire petite tour, et c’en est une. On y accède par un escalier extérieur qui grimpe le long de la façade rouge brique, et on débouche sur une terrasse minuscule — une table bistrot, deux chaises en fer forgé, un voile d’ombrage jaune. En face : les vignes, et la petite route qui descend droit vers la mer.

Le rez-de-chaussée est une seule pièce à vivre, trois fenêtres, sol en carreaux bleus. On y a gardé la crèche en pierre d’origine, nettoyée mais intacte — le bâtiment a eu une autre vie avant. Coin cuisine en pierre et béton, table ronde en bois foncé, deux fauteuils à rayures.

Un escalier hélicoïdal en métal noir monte à la chambre : murs bleu nuageux, tête de lit en bois ancien peint, tomettes au sol, une armoire bleu nuit. Une porte, une fenêtre, et rien d’autre à ajouter. La salle d’eau est en bas, vasque maçonnée bleu ciel et douche en zellige bleu nuit.

Torretta means little tower, and that’s exactly what it is. You reach it by an outside staircase climbing the brick-red facade, and come out onto a tiny terrace — a bistro table, two wrought-iron chairs, a yellow sun sail. Facing you: the vines, and the small road that runs straight down to the sea.

The ground floor is a single living room, three windows, a floor of blue tiles. The original stone manger has been kept, cleaned but untouched — the building had another life before. A stone-and-concrete kitchen corner, a round dark wood table, two striped armchairs.

A black spiral staircase climbs to the bedroom: cloud-blue walls, an old painted wooden headboard, terracotta tiles underfoot, a midnight-blue wardrobe. A door, a window, and nothing else to add. The shower room is downstairs, with a sky-blue masonry basin and midnight-blue zellige.

Torretta porta un nome italiano, ed è esattamente quello che è. Ci si arriva da una scala esterna che sale lungo la facciata rosso mattone, e si sbuca su una piccola terrazza — un tavolino da bistrot, due sedie in ferro battuto, una vela ombreggiante gialla. Di fronte: le vigne, e la stradina che scende dritta verso il mare.

Il piano terra è un unico ambiente, tre finestre, pavimento in piastrelle azzurre. È stata conservata la mangiatoia in pietra originale, pulita ma intatta — l’edificio prima aveva un’altra vita. Angolo cucina in pietra e cemento, tavolo rotondo in legno scuro, due poltroncine a righe.

Una scala a chiocciola in metallo nero sale alla camera: pareti azzurro nuvolato, testiera in legno antico dipinto, cotto sotto i piedi, un armadio blu notte. Una porta, una finestra, e non serve altro. Il bagno è al piano terra, con lavabo in muratura azzurro e doccia in zellige blu notte.
